If you happen to do what I did in New Zealand while testing out my new camera, here are step by step instructions for recovery.
Step one is optional.
1) Play with your camera and accidentally delete all the pictures on your memory card.
2) Do NOT use this memory card if you want the lost pictures back.
If you do not have second memory card available and you really need to to take photos,
ask yourself which do you value more - the pics you had on your card or the ongoing photo opportunity.
3) Make yourself a mental note to get yourself a backup memory card for emergencies just like this.
4) When you reach internet connection & computer (with a memory card reader) you are able to install software to, download a free recovery sw to your computer and install it. (For example: Pandora Recovery or Recuva)
5) Insert your card and run the software
6) Make a copy of your recovered photos and go back living the travel life at its fullest
